Passport photo rejected — blurry or out of focus
The face is not sharp at 100% zoom — motion blur or missed focus.
Why the authority rejects this
Print and biometric systems need a sharp iris and defined chin. A 12 MP file can still be unusable if the focus landed on the wall.
What to do
- Tap the face to focus. Use a timer so you are not holding the phone while tapping.
- More light allows a faster shutter and less blur.
- Do not ‘sharpen’ a blurry file in a filter app — that will not restore the iris.
