Retake guide
Passport photo rejected — head too large
Chin-to-crown fills more of the frame than the document allows.
Why the authority rejects this
A face-only crop looks ‘passport-like’ but fails millimetre rules. US 2×2 photos need head height in a 50–69% band; many 35×45 mm documents need a different band. Cropping at the neck also removes required shoulder area.
What to do
- Step back so the top of the hair, ears, and upper shoulders are all in the photo.
- Do not zoom until the chin sits on the bottom edge.
- Select the exact document in PicsForm Create — the crop targets that document’s band, not a generic selfie crop.
