DS-160 photo upload failed
The file fails CEAC checks for size, kilobytes, head height, or appearance.
Why the authority rejects this
DS-160 uses the same 2×2 inch / 600×600 px family as US visa catalog rows, with a tight file-size cap. A UK 35×45 mm JPEG will not upload.
What to do
- Create a US Visa / DS-160 photo in PicsForm — not a generic passport crop.
- Export JPEG under the catalog kilobyte cap (240 KB on the US visa row).
- No glasses, white background, head in the 50–69% band.
- If CEAC still fails, read the on-screen code; do not keep re-uploading a 2 MB iPhone original.
