Use the rear camera, not FaceTime
The rear wide camera on modern iPhones (12 and later) captures enough resolution for 600×600 px US exports and 413×531 px European formats. Disable Portrait mode and all filters — Natural style only.
Disable processing that alters your face
- Settings → Camera → turn off Prioritize Faster Shooting if it reduces quality
- Avoid third-party beauty cameras

Lighting and background
