Retake guide
Passport photo rejected — head too small
The face occupies too little of the frame; too much empty background sits above the hair or below the chest.
Why the authority rejects this
Authorities specify a minimum chin-to-crown height. A full-body or mid-torso shot that is later padded with background will still measure too small.
What to do
- Move closer until the head is in the published percent band — not until the camera distorts the nose.
- Keep the camera at eye height so you are not looking up or down.
- If PicsForm reports the head is still too small after processing, retake; do not stretch the face.
