Official size & DPI
We lock width × height in millimetres and pixels for the exact document you selected — not a one-size crop.
Head height band
Chin-to-crown must sit inside that country’s published percentage range. No soft padding, no “close enough.”
Eye-line position
Eyes are measured from the bottom of the frame against the document’s official band used by biometric systems.
Background color & uniformity
Required white, grey, or blue fields are verified for both color match and evenness — shadows fail hard.
Centering & edge clearance
The face must be centered with the full head inside the frame. Clipped crowns and off-center poses are rejected.

Policy rules for the selected document are listed as hard requirements so you know what reviewers expect.
